MyChristianchat.com (My CC) is a Christian site which means that we cannot support any advertisements which are against our faith as understood from our Mission Statement&Statement of Faith. As such, we will not permit any form of the following:
-Sexual Immorality, such as advertisements for prostitution, sex products, escort services, etc.
-Drugs
-Gambling
-Non-Christian Friendly music
-Spamming
-Flooding
-Scamming
Also as posted in the Forums, currently this site is English only until, Lord willing, we find a suitable translator in the future. Please see our "Statement of Faith" below.

Christian Topics / Faith: Will you open the door?

Faith and Works
There has been alot of controversy amongst us about this topic. Perhaps what we must do is to realize that these both go "hand in hand". We know per the Scriptures that we are saved by grace through faith and not through works. There is nothing we can boast/brag about in this. (https://biblehub.com/ephesians/2-8.htm
Therefore this is not the issue. What about after we are saved? How does this work then? What about this passage of Scripture (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James+2%3A14-26&version=NKJV Yes, this is true. So, how do we apply both?
Imagine if you will about a door in front of you. Behind that door you hear God saying, "There are good things behind that door". You answer, "Yes, God! I believe there are good things behind that door!" You, keep repeating the same response over and over again. "Yes, Wonderful things behind that door!" "Wow such amazing things are there!"
Now here is the question. How can we realize those good things behind that door, until we actually reach out and open the door?
This is an example of faith and works working together.
