How to have Victory in Christ

Faith and its importance
It begins at the miraculous spiritual rebirth of the believer and the subsequent adoption into the royal family, for it is by grace (unmerited favor) through faith (trusting wholeheartedly in something you cannot explicitly prove) that this occurs.

Relationship
We are now in a relationship with God, which means we can go to Him anytime, anywhere, and anyplace.  "Secretly" by praying, worshipping, and studying Scripture;  "Publicly" through worship, fellowship, praise, group Scripture study,  inviting people into the same relationship we enjoy, and being thankful for and through it all.

Faith and its importance
We are required to walk in faith from herein out as we mature in Christ.
Faith must have action (a positive response); without it, it is dead.
Soon after the adoption occurs, we discover that we are at war with the enemy of our souls, not defenseless as now we are sealed by the Holy Spirit and given a heart of flesh that desires to follow God's instructions.

For these reasons, Scripture instructs us to don the complete armor of God, which consists of the helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth,  shoes of desire to share the good news, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit.

God does not leave us defenseless,  as his protection and strength are unmeasured. By believing and acting in agreement with God, we have victory in Christ.
